Awaken your Bride within me
Open her eyes to see.
Fill that hunger within her,
To know more and more of Thee.
Draw her to refreshing,
From the Living Waters within.
Fill her with deep intimacy,
To desire only Him.
Him, whom her soul loveth,
Her groom, her. God, her Lord.
She cries out to all who will hear her
" Come listen to His Word."
Oh draw her into Your presence.
Let her see Your glorious face.
Transform her into your likeness,
Crown her with glory and grace.
She only wants to be with you,
She longs to be one with Thee.
Take away her reproach ,Lord,
And lead her to follow Thee.
You called her to overcome, Lord.
She's not afraid to fight.
She has the strength that she needs,
She's guided by Your holy light.
She knows Your Word and Your Spirit.
She knows You will do what You say.
She is confident in the promise You gave her.
She is familiar with Your ways.
She fully surrenders to You,Lord.
She knows You are the Love in her heart.
Her heart is to be one with You,
And from Your side never depart.
Your glory and Word are with her.
Your Spirit is her comfort and friend.
She hungers and thirsts for Your righteousness,
And abhors every act of sin.
Someday You will take us away, Lord.
You will come as a thief in the night.
You will carry us to Your Fathers house,
And we will become Your wife.
We will feast at the wedding celebration
All the saints through the ages we will see.
Our hearts will rejoice in Your beauty and goodness,
We are Yours for Eternity.
I Know You Feel Broken 4/16/25
I see you standing there, in a puddle of your broken dreams;
muddy tears of shame, streaming down the cheeks of a weary, broken soul.
You keep wandering in circles, on the path you tried to see,
hoping that the day will dawn and you will finally understand and know.
All your hopes have fallen, surrounding the place where you've stopped, frozen with fear, unable to move forward because of the pain.
Every movement you make brings you more fear and frustration,
as you waiver helplessly, afraid to lose all you've already gained.
You hear the words" Hold fast to what you have," then you look at the robe you wear.
"What do I have? What can I give?", you ask, then you fall helplessly to the ground in despair.
Always your eyes are focused on the loss' it's all laying on the ground before you.
If you would only look up and into His eyes, you would see your Father deeply adores you.
My daughter, He's speaking to you in a gentle, kind voice, with His hands reaching out to help you.
Stop looking at what you think you deserve and take the righteousness He offers you.
You can't clean that robe or pick up the pieces that are falling around your feet,
You were never meant to fix it alone, only in Him will you be complete.
It's still your choice; He won't take that from you, though it saddens His heart to see.
He already made a way for you to heal. He made a way for you to be free.
You say, " but Shepherd, my wounds are too deep and I've soiled my garment so.
I'm just a little too much work, I don't think You can make me whole.
I know myself Lord, I've seen what I've done. I've tried so hard to be clean.
I've given it all that I've got Lord,and it's just too big for me,
Yes. for you." He says with a smile in His eyes, because He's got plans for you.
"Yes for you it is more than you can bear, but let Me share with you what is true."
"When you think your sin is too much for Me and I'm not able to figure you out;
when you'd rather run because of your shame and fear me because of your doubt;
When your hopes are smashed all over the ground and you think you've lost your way;
When you've cried enough tears to fill an ocean and prayed all the prayers you can pray;
When you're broken and bleeding from all of the times you've fallen on the stony ground,
as you attempt to climb the highest mountain of truth but it felt like truth couldn't be found,"
I am right beside you, calling your name, "Hold onto My hand" I am saying.
You weren't meant to climb this alone, follow Me where I am leading.
Let go of your fears; let go of your shame, stop measuring with scales that you use.
Stop looking at things through the eyes of emotion and look through eyes of truth.
Let go of your rights; I own you now. I paid a high price for you.
You are worth it to me. You are mine and I want you. Now see what I can do.
You tried it your way. You put in the work. You fought your flesh and your feelings,
Now give Me a chance, let me hold you a while and i will begin your true healing.
You cannot receive what I'm offering you if you're unwilling to surrender to me.
Let go of your pain and your justification and lay it all down at My feet.
Remember I'm God, and I know and see all. There's nothing you will do,
to ever cause Me to leave you behind. I will never abandon you.
In exchange for your pain and sorrow you carry, I'll give you My joy and peace.
Enter into My rest, Love and nestle under My wings.

You can trust our God
He sent his son to pay our debt. He gave us His Word so we wouldn't forget.
He knows we are dust and bent toward sin,
So He gave us His Spirit, if we let Him come in.
He never leaves us and never fails.
We can trust in His Word because it will prevail.
Others will fail us and cause us great pain,
But our God never changes, we can trust in His name.
His love is far greater than our sin and our shame;
If we reach out and trust Him He will take all our pain.
His promises are real and His word's always true.
If we anchor our faith in them He'll carry us through.
Though the storms rage around us and inside of us too,
Our God will sustain us with His love and His truth.
The light of His Word will guide all our steps as we walk on the path of His righteousness.
Our God never fails; what He says, He will do.
His promises are real and His love for us is true.
He designed our future with hope and a plan;
All He asks in return is that we hold onto His hand.
He knows and sees all and He'll guide every step.
If we stand firm in our faith and how fast to what He said.
Our God is trustworthy and He's faithful too.
There's nothing too difficult, that He cannot do.
If your problems are big and you're feeling so small,
Remember your God has accomplished it all.
Trust in His plan, trust in His Word,
Trust in His process and walk in what you've learned.
He knows what He's doing; He sees beginning to end.
His love for you is His motivation. He is your greatest friend.
Poetry speaks to the heart in the same way that symbols do. It reaches deeper inside of us to touch our emotions in a more intimate way
Trusting My Shepherd
I trust in Him to bring me home.
I pray from Him, I'll never roam.
He'll guide my way and keep me still,
if I submit my earthly will.
If I just trade my wants below,
He'll give me peace where'er I go.
If I but follow close to Him,
He'll shine on my path so I won't sin.
He'll take me gently by the hand;
we'll walk together to that promised land.
His Word will give me the strength I need,
so I won't weary and I'll receive.
It will sustain me on my journey ahead;
His blood and body, my daily bread.
My hopes and dreams are in His hands.
I'll gaze at Him and at me, glance.
I'm not afraid of traps and snares;
I know my good Shepherd takes all my cares.
Beside still waters, He calls to me.
He feeds me in the presence of my enemy'
If I should wander or be dismayed,
His staff will help me find my way.
He'll safely lead me back to the fold.
His love is more precious than silver or gold.
There are mountains and valleys on this path we take;
but He will use me for His glory's sake.
It might be at night, where its hard to see,
but I won't be afraid, He's leading me,
He knows this path, He knows it by heart;
He'll keep me safe and never depart.
This Shepherd of mine, knows all that I am;
I'm knowing Him too, He's the great " I AM ".
My cup overflows with mercy and goodness;
the joy that I have! I cannot contain this!
The greatest gift He's given to me,
Is His covenant promise of sweet intimacy
Forever and ever I'll sing all His praise,
for He is the God of all of my days.

[1] O Lord, You have searched me and known me. [2] You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. [3] You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. [4] For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. [5] You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. [6] Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it. [7] Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? [8] If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. [9] If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, [10] Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. You Fashioned Me In Your Love.
You know everything about me, Lord.
You hold all my time in your hands.
You know all my thoughts, actions and words.
You listen and you understand.
You hear my cries when I'm lonely.
Your spirit comforts me.
Even in the darkest night,
You shine your light so I can see.
I'll sing your praises forever,
With Joy welling up in my heart,
For your thoughts are good towards me, Father.
From me, you'll never depart.
You will be with me forever and ever.
You'll guide me and show me the way.
I'll never roam from your presence,
You're with me in the night and the day.
You see everything that I'm facing.
You know I will make it through.
You've already seen the whole journey.
It's been written down by you.
You formed me with great thought and intention.
Every cell, a perfect part of your plan.
With love and delight you created me.
I was formed by your loving hand.
My body, soul and nature, my talents, gifts and calling too,
We're all designs with purpose, to bring all glory to you.
Every day of my life's been recorded;
You've written it in eternity.
You see and know already what I am becoming.
There is nothing you do not see.
Your thoughts toward me are precious.
They are more than the sands of the sea.
You quiet me with your love
And sing songs of joy over me.
You gave me hope and a future;
Your covenant promises you keep.
You give me grace and mercy,
as your word I continually seek.
Your precious blood has freed me,
From the chains of sin and death.
I'll rejoice for all you've done for me,
Even in my final breath.
You paid the ransom for my soul,
With death upon a tree.
You rose again to make me whole, for all eternity.
My heart in you and yours in mine,
My beloved Lord and King.
