Correction from God, Brings Maturity.

6/24/25

a good measuring tool that reveals our level of spiritual maturity, is how well we receive correction. When we are grounded in the truth, we are much more pliable to the Holy Spirit to receive instruction, correction and revelation. Maturity in the Lord, brings understanding of the value of correction and a willingness to change.

Even if we are in right standing with Christ and abiding in Him as our life source, we still contend with darkness on a daily basis. We battle our carnal nature, demonic forces and the hostile atmosphere of the world.

The Bible tells us to continually renew our mind with the Word, through the Holy Spirit. We are righteous because of Christ Jesus but if we want to fully access all of His promises, we must be willing to fully submit to the Word of God

2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV
[16] All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, [17] that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

When Paul wrote these words, he was writing to a young preacher. Timothy was loved by Paul, like a son. These words tell us what God's Word is able to do in our hearts and lives, if we are willing to submit to all of it,

The writer of Hebrews tells us why God corrects us;

Hebrews 12:6-8 ESV
[6] For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.” [7] It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? [8] If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.

God is treating us like sons and daughters when He corrects us and reveals truth to us. When we submit to the Word of God, we are submitting to Jesus, because He is one with His Word. There is no difference except that the Word became flesh to save us from our sins, establish the church and enable us to partake of our heavenly inheritance.

When we receive correction from the Lord, it is given to grow us and bring us closer to Him. Paul makes sure that we understand that there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus but he also warns us not to abuse the gift of grace.

Our earthly father might have punished us in anger or shamed us when we made a mistake but Abba promises to pick us up when we fall down. He doesn't leave us wallowing in self pity or carnal attitudes if we truly submit to His correction. He is firm but loving. There is no justification for sin or carnality but there are times of refreshing when we repent and get back on the path of righteousness.

Acts 3:19-20 ESV
[19] Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, [20] that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus..

When we are corrected or admonished by the Word of God, we must submit to that correction before the Lord. Always bring everything to the Holy Spirit and inquire of Him what is true. If we see the truth, even if the delivery is harsh, we must submit to the Word of God, in that truth. as the Spirit reveals it to us.

Our heavenly Father loves us and knows that we are in the process of sanctification. He also knows our flesh would rather justify its carnality or sin rather than let go and surrender it to Him. Pride is a big problem for His children but He knows how to correct that in us, if we are willing to trust and obey Him and submit to His Word.

The Lord will not harm us, but He will allow us  to suffer the consequences of our bad choices. He also sees the hidden lies infecting open wounds in our hearts, that leave us vulnerable to the enemy. it is His heart to reveal those lies to us so we can be free of them and protected in the truth. A righteous man may fall seven times but the Lord will lift him up if he loves the Lord and is obedient to His Word.

Proverbs 24:16 ESV
[16]  for the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity.

 Proverbs 12:15 ESV
[15]  The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.

If a word is given to us by someone in the body of Chris and it brings pain to hear it, we must not reject it because of the pain. We must bring it before God and see if it lines up with His Word and if we also are aligned with His Word, before we choose to reject it. If it is true correction, we must be grateful that our heavenly Father loves us enough to correct us as His legitimate children.

Even surrendering our past, is possible in Jesus.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Letting Go of Our Past and Moving Toward the High Call of God, In Jesus.

6/2/25

The Lord our God, calls us to leave our past in the past and move forward into the covenant promises and the call He has on our live

Philippians 3:13-14 NKJV
[13] Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, [14] I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Paul knew what it meant to sin against God. In 1 Timothy 1:15, He writes that he was the chiefest of sinners. Paul wasn't being modest or falsely humble, he was telling the truth.

I Timothy 1:15 NKJV
[15] This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

He put many people who loved Jesus, in prison, forcing them to deny Christ or face death or prison. That is a huge burden for someone to carry that loved Jesus as much as Paul did.

Paul had to realize that God's grace was sufficient for him. He let go of his past and he reached out for the upward, higher call of God. He didn't stay stuck on what he did wrong, he looked to Jesus to make it right.

To those of you out there who lived a pretty clean life and feel you can make heaven on your own merits, Paul speaks to you as well. He was a great Jewish lawyer, who followed the law to the letter. He counted his credentials as dung, next to the Work Jesus did on the cross.

Paul tells us in Romans that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We cannot be righteous on our own merit. we must acknowledge what Jesus did on the cross for us and wear His righteousness.

Romans 3:23 All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God

We have all sinned, so no one has the right to compare one past to another. everyone is required to do the same thing with their respective pasts. We must leave it on the cross where Jesus carried it for us. If you sinned even once then you need a savior. There is no other way to be saved from your sins.

We all have a past. We all made bad choices and bad choices were made on us. We must surrender all of it to God and trust in His process of healing and transformation. We must not analyze our past and try to sort the bad from the good. I've heard it said " learn the lessons from your past but leave the pain" but I say " learn your lessons from the Word and leave all your past behind."

Paul doesn't justify his sin. He acknowledges his responsibility for the choices he made. He doesn't hold on to the fact that he was a great lawyer of Jewish law. He takes all of it and trades it in for the righteousness of Christ. We must make that choice too.

God wants us to be free. Jesus became our sin so we could become His righteousness.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

That is the only true reality. When the Father looks at us, He sees the righteousness of Jesus and His blood covering our hearts. We can come boldly before His throne, knowing His love for us. We are priceless treasures to Him. His plans for us are good.

Everything that Satan meant for evil in our lives, will be turned for our good and God's glory. If we love Him and are called for His purpose, He will be our God and fight for us.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

The more we study His word, the more we will know and love Him. The more we seek His Word, the more real His Kingdom will become to us. All His covenant promises are in His kingdom and we have access to them through Jesus.

Let us surrender our past to the One who knows all and trust Him with our present and future.

It's not worth it to hold on to something that was and no longer is our identity now. The Bible says we are a new creation. we must embrace that identity we have in Christ and let go of our preconceived ideas of who we think we are. We are born again believers in Jesus, filled with the power of His Holy Spirit. We are over comers and vessels of glory.

Envision your past as a ball of yarn riddled with knots. Every knot represents an offense you've committed or one committed against you. You have two choices; unravel every single knot and sort out who you need to forgive and who needs to forgive you or you can give that yarn right back to Jesus because He paid for all our offenses. If we choose the latter, we will know a freedom in Christ that we cannot imagine.

God alone, knows how to turn all the plans of the enemy for our good and His glory. Let us Choose to trust His plans for us , as the Lover and Creator of our soul and watch His Power and grace become evident in our lives.

Devouring the Word of God.

  4/24/25

Meditate on His Word Daily!

When we study the Word of God, how do we approach our time with God? Do we come before Him humbly, laying down all our preconceived ideas of what we've learned? Do we give Him uninterrupted time every day so we can hear what He wants us to know in His Word, in that day?

David said he devoured the Word day and night! Many translations use the word " meditate" but the Hebrew word David used in Psalm 1:2 is "Hagah". This word actually means to devour like a Lion!
Oh the evidence we see in the Psalms of how David did just that!

Psalm 1:2 KJV
[2] But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Psalm 1:3 KJV
[3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That bringeth forth his fruit in his season; His leaf also shall not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The treasures in God's Word are called " Rhema". Logos is the written Word of God and hidden within the Logos is His Rhema for each one of His children.

When we become born again and filled with His Spirit, we are like a butterfly breaking out of a cocoon. We can no longer feed our souls carnal things and feel satisfied, just like a butterfly no longer eats leaves. Now our spirit craves the things of God. We will only be satisfied by the Rhema or revelation in His Word. Just as a butterfly must drink the nectar within a flower, so must we drink the Rhema within the written Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV
[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Psalm 119:105 KJV
[105] Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path.

His Word is alive and sharper than any two-edged sword. It is our weapon against our enemy. We can put our hope in His Word and trust it over our feelings, thoughts, and experiences. It is the only scale to base the truth on. If what we believe does not agree with the Word of God, then we must change our beliefs. God's Word will never change. It is the only true reality and it's power reaches beyond time.

Jesus is one with His Word! This is what John says about Jesus as the Word of God:

John 1:1-3, 5 KJV
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
[5] And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

The treasures in this world are nothing compared to the treasures in God's Word. We are washed and renewed by His Word. It is beyond time and can overcome everything the enemy throws at us and already has.

His promises are in His Word. Stories of His miracles are in His  Word. All our instructions to walk in godliness are in His Word and the pattern of the Kingdom is in His Word.

There are treasures all through scripture that a life time of study will not reveal. The Bible is personal and speaks to each one of God's children in a unique way without compromising any of the truth

We receive faith through His Word and faith enabled us to receive His promises that we discover in His Word. We see His heart for us and the vision to stand firm in our faith, with assurance.

Romans 10:17 KJV
[17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

When we receive Rhema in the written Word of God, we are hearing the Lord speak to us. This gives us faith to believe all His promises are true and faith to believe all the Word of God is true.

The Word of God is a mighty weapon against our enemy. Paul refers to it as " the Sword of the Spirit". Hebrews says it is a two-edged sword dividing the soul from the spirit.

The Word of the Lord is powerful! God created all things by His Word. We must be skilled in His Word if we want to use it as a weapon against our enemy.

If you were in a battle in the days of swords and you said to your enemy " Hold on just a second while I figure out how to use this against you", not only would be laugh in your face but he would take off your head!

We are at war with the powers of darkness. There is grace as we learn how to fight but we must not take that grace for grant it. The Bible tells all seven churches in Revelation 2 and 3, to overcome. We cannot overcome if we do not learn how to use the Word of God, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to overcome.

The Bible says in 1 John that He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world. How could we believe that scripture unless we knew it was a scripture?

Purpose this week to sit with Abba and seek the treasures He has for you through the help of His Holy Spirit.

He Will Heal Our Brokenness

4/20/25

How do we overcome brokenness in our soul? We know Abbas heart toward us. We see many scriptures that tell us how much He loves us and delights in us.

Some of us do not know God's Word well enough to be aware of all the wonderful thoughts our heavenly Father has toward us.

Scripture tells us He has given us a hope and a future. He delights in us and sings over us and quiets us with His love. He gave us all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Jesus became sin so we could wear His robe of righteousness.

Scripture says He formed us with intention and His thoughts toward us are greater than the sands of the sea. He provides protection, health and provision for every need.

His grace and mercy abound in us. We have joy and peace in Him. He loved us enough to lay down His life for us and give us a brand new spirit.

He gave us authority over the powers of darkness and set us free from sin and our carnal nature. He gave us His Word so we would know His heart for us, His gospel of peace and all His covenant promises.

Why do we continue to believe the lies hidden in our wounds? Many times we don't even know what the lie is. It's hidden in darkness, usually surrounded by fear. Even intense anger has its root in fear. Anger is fear that we will not receive what we need. It is an intense emotion triggered by a threat of our emotional or physical well being..

He tells us in Psalms 23 that He restores our soul. The way He restores our soul is by revealing the lie hidden in the wounds of our hearts. We are usually aware of our painful experiences but not the lie buried within those wounds.

We must come before God and ask Him to reveal the hidden lies. Only God knows where those lies are and how to reveal them. As we come to Him, open to see the truth, He will gently uncover the painful lie embedded in our very raw and painful wound.

This is not an easy process. We must do what David did and willingly look at the truth He reveals to us. When we read his Psalms, we see the many times he had to face the ugliness in his heart. We also see how God restored Davids heart when David was willing to give it to God and accept His help.

All of us have made bad choices that have led to painful and destructive consequences. We must face the lie that we are victims and embrace the truth that we are responsible for the choices we made.

Romans 8:1 tells us that we don't have to walk in condemnation but we must admit that we made bad choices and ask God and those affected by them to forgive us and we must forgive ourselves.

When others have affected us by their bad choices, we must be willing to forgive and walk in love and recognize that Jesus carried all the sins of the world with Him on the cross. This includes ours and everyone else's.

Sometimes the person we struggle the most to forgive is ourselves. That too must be laid on the cross. We may see our failings and shortcomings every day but the Word says He will complete the work He started and the book has already been written on our life. We may look at ourselves and incredulously say" How in the world are you going to complete Your work in me, Abba!?"

Look at the word "Your" it's  specific to someone other than you. You won't be completing His work, He will. We are supposed to surrender everything to Him in obedience and sacrifice and He take all that He put in us before we were born and the gifts from His Spirit and form a beautiful vessel for His glory out of our lives.

We won't be a cracked pot. We will be fit for the glory of the King of Kings! How He does this in each unique heart, only He understands but He promises to make us beautiful and useful for His Kingdom and glory. All He asks is that we trust Him with our brokenness and follow Him where He leads us in our hearts, with the light of His truth. We don't make excuses, but fully own all of our choices, repent for our sin and move on into His righteousness.

There are many places He will take us in our hearts but we don't have to be afraid of the process for He knows everything about us and how to lead us into all truth if we are willing to trust Him with our brokenness.

Hebrews 4:12-13 NLT
[12] For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. [13] Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.

Psalms 139:23-24 NLT
[23] Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. [24] Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

I Peter 5:6-7 NKJV
[6] Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, [7] casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you

Romans 8:1-2 NLT
[1] So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. [2] And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.

Psalms 119:105 NLT
[105] Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

Psalms 23:3 NKJV
[3] He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

John 1:4-5 NKJV
[4] In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Psalms 73:25-26 NKJV
[25] Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. [26] My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Philippians 1:6 NKJV
[6] being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

Knowing the Heart of God

4/11/25

The joy we find as we discover our father's heart toward us in scripture, is indescribable. The more we seek Him, His Word and His Spirit, The more excited and encouraged we will become. Scripture says that if we seek Him with our whole heart we will find Him.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 NKJV
[11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. [12] Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. [13] And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Not only are His promises more than what we will ever be able to grasp for eternity but the richness of His love will be revealed to us as well.

Ephesians 1:3 NKJV
[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

Ephesians 1:17-20 NKJV
[17] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, [18] the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, [19] and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power [20] which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

II Corinthians 1:20 NKJV
[20] For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

The gods of this world take and take from us and put us in bondage if we give ourselves to them but the God of the scripturs,( the Only True God) gives us all that we could ever imagine and so much more.

I Corinthians 2:9 NKJV
[9] But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Romans 8:38-39 NKJV
[38] For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, [39] nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God has prepared so many wonderful blessings for us in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus but we must be willing to take the time to look for them and know what they are. We also need to be willing to obey whatever the Word tells us to do to receive them.

II Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV
[16] All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, [17] that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

James 2:20-22 NKJV
[20] But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? [21] Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? [22] Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?

Some of us want financial blessings without being a good Stewart of what He already gave us. Some of us want healing in our body but we are not  willing to treat it with care and respect as the temple of the Lord.

We receive His promises by faith and we show our faith by our obedience to His Word. Abba knows us intimately. He knows our strengths and vulnerabilities. What may be wrong for one person may not for another. Religion wants everyone to follow the same rules but God knows each heart and keeps us safe from the traps of the enemy. He tells us not only what we need to lay down but also what we need to add to our lives.

In our generation, we have access to so many ways to find His promises for us but to know the heart of God and His love for us, we must actually be willing to open our Bible and study His Word. If we do this, He will take us on an amazing journey of discovering His heart for all of His children in every book of the Bible.

There are so many examples of His love for us in both the Old and New Testaments. Abba will take you to those that will have great meaning for you. He created us all in a unique way. He relates to all of His children differently. We all must come through Jesus to be adopted by Him, but we all have our own unique journey with Him.

Romans 12:1-2 NKJV
[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We renew our mind by studying and then obeying His word. We take every thought captive that does not line up with His word.
When we hear in our mind that we are unlovable, we can line that thought up with the scripture that says He delights in us and sings over us( zeph. 3:17 ) or He loved us even before we loved Him ( 1 John 4:19).

I challenge you to study scripture, take all you read to His Holy Spirit and ask Him to teach you the powerful truths about His heart for you, in His Word. Until next week, happy hunting.

Nothing Can Separate Us From His love!

John 3:16-17 NKJV
[16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. [17] For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved

Becoming born again and filled with His Spirit:

3/30/25

What does it mean to be born again?

Being born again means you have repented from you sin and you've accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You've acknowledged Him with your mouth and you believed in Him in your heart. Sin is all disobedience to the Word of God.  In order to receive salvation for your sins and go to heaven instead of hell, you must be born again. when you become born again, you are given a brand new spirit from heaven. you are now a new creation in Christ, ready to be filled with His Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: 0ld things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Romans 10:9-10 NKJV
[9] that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Why would anyone stop there? It is true no one should have to spend eternity in a horrible lake of fire besides the devil and his cohorts. Jesus died to rescue us all from Hell. He took upon His body all the sins man ever committed, is committing now and will commit in the future.  That is not all He did for humanity.

When He came to earth He brought His Kingdom with Him and established it in the hearts of all those who believe on Him and allow His Spirit to dwell within them. Believing Him for salvation and allowing the Holy Spirit to fill you up with His presence,  are two different experiences with God.

We know we have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit when we begin the transformation of our sinful life to His Holy call. We will begin to receive understanding in scripture that we were not able to see before. Many of us receive a prayer language at the time of our baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Scripture says all we have to do to receive the Holy Spirit into our spirit is obey God in His Word and ask the Father to give us His Spirit.

Luke 11:13 NKJV
[13] If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

John 14:15-18 NKJV
[15] “If you love Me, keep My commandments. [16] And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— [17] the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. [18] I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

We see from these verses that there are two things we must do to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit:
We must obey God because we love Him and we must ask the Father to give us His Holy Spirit.
His Spirit, dwelling in us will transform us into His divine nature.

This is a slow, steady process. It requires being willing to lay down all our own preconceived ideas and fully embrace the Word of God as absolute truth.
Our reasonable mind will continually fight against the uncomfortable truth in God's Word but we must choose to always believe His Word over our thoughts, emotions and past experiences.
The only way this process of transformation can take place in our hearts and minds is by the power of His Spirit within us and our choice to immerse ourselves in the Word of God.

We will continue learning about His Spirit in the next lesson. Many teachers are available to us. We must pray that the true teacher would reveal all truth to us as we seek Him and Him only.

I John 2:27 NKJV
[27] But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him

Always pray for understanding and never take anyone's opinion of God's Word for the truth without seeking Him yourself for the truth and believing He will reveal the truth to you.

,

I Peter 1:23 NKJV
[23] having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,

Romans 10:9-10 NKJV
[9] that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Buried and risen into the Kingdom of God.

Now that you are born again and baptized in His Spirit, the next step should be to make a public declaration of your faith to show that you are fully committed to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

This is what water baptism is. It isn't something we take lightly but it is what Jesus said to do if we want to be a part of the Kingdom of God. It is a symbolic act of obedience to acknowledge that the old nature is buried with Christ and the new nature of our born again spirit is risen with Christ. You must be immersed in water  and then brought up out of the water as a public profession of your faith.

Romans 6:4 NKJV
[4] Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
[17] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Matthew 6:33 NKJV
[33] But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

John 3:3, 5 NKJV
[3] Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
[5] Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Now we are officially ready to start walking in the Kingdom of God. Our lives will be changed forever as we grab a hold of His promises within the Kingdom Jesus established for us here on earth.

We see in scripture the importance of water baptism in order to walk in the Kingdom here on earth. This doesn't mean those who are saved on their death bed miss God's Kingdom. We will automatically experience His Kingdom when we die. Here on earth, there steps we must take to walk and live in His Kingdom while here on earth.

Jesus says before we do anything else we should seek His Kingdom. In order to do that we must follow His plan, written here in His Word.

We will take on the culture of His Kingdom, as more and more, we persevere to be like Jesus, with the Help of His precious Holy Spirit. Our thoughts will be different, our perspective will change, our faith will become stronger and what we speak out of our mouths will become a lot more important to us. What used to bother us will fade in the light of His glorious presence in our lives.

We will know peace, joy, love, faith and so many more attributes of God, in His Kingdom. Oh what a glorious journey we are about to take, as we discover Abba's covenant with us within the Kingdom of His dear Son. The amazing thing about this Kingdom is , it's right inside of us, in Him

Heavenly Father, teach us how to walk like Jesus did, We want more with You than being saved from an eternal hell, We want to know You and Your precious Word. Help us on our journey of Knowing You in a deeper and more intimate way. In Jesus name, Amen.
